Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how TraxVault for Inflyte ("TraxVault", "we", "our", "us") handles your information when you visit traxvault.app, install our macOS desktop application, or contact us for support.

Short version: we collect as little as possible. We don't run analytics, we don't track you, and we don't share your personal data with anyone except the payment processor who actually sells you a license (Lemon Squeezy).

1. Who we are

TraxVault is operated as an independent indie project. For any privacy-related question, contact us at support@traxvault.app.

2. What we collect on this website

The marketing site at traxvault.app is a static page hosted on Vercel. We do not use cookies, analytics, fingerprinting, or any third-party tracking scripts on this site. Your visit is anonymous from our perspective.

Vercel, our hosting provider, processes standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, request URL) for ~24 hours for the sole purpose of detecting abuse and preventing attacks. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.

The site loads lemon.js from Lemon Squeezy only when you click a Buy or Subscribe button so the in-page checkout overlay can open. Until you click that button, no script communicates with Lemon Squeezy.

3. What is collected when you purchase a subscription

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC), who acts as our Merchant of Record. When you buy, you provide your email, name, billing address, and payment method directly to Lemon Squeezy — not to us.

After a successful purchase Lemon Squeezy shares with us:

• your email address (so we can send your license key and provide support),
• the country of your billing address (for VAT reporting),
• your subscription status (active, cancelled, expired).

We do not receive your card number, CVC, full billing address, or any banking details. Those stay with Lemon Squeezy and their PCI-DSS compliant payment partners.

4. What the desktop app does on your Mac

The TraxVault for Inflyte desktop app processes data locally on your Mac. The following is stored in your home folder under ~/.traxvault/:

• Your license key + activation ID — needed to validate your subscription on launch.
• Trial download counter — to enforce the free-trial limit before activation.
• App preferences (last format used, rating defaults, etc.).
• Inflyte credentials — only if you tick the "Remember credentials" toggle. Stored locally, base64-encoded (this is not encryption — treat your home folder as private). Untick the toggle to keep them in memory only for the session.

We never receive any of this data. It never leaves your Mac unless you choose to back it up yourself.

5. Network calls the app makes

The desktop app makes the following outbound HTTPS requests:

• Lemon Squeezy License API (api.lemonsqueezy.com) — to activate your license and re-check its status (~once a day while the app is open).
• Update manifest (traxvault.app/updates/...) — checked on launch to see if a newer version is available.
• Inflyte website (inflyteapp.com) — to perform the actual promo downloads, signed in with your Inflyte credentials. This traffic goes directly between your Mac and Inflyte; nothing is routed through us.

6. We don't do

• No analytics SDK in the app, no telemetry, no crash reporter.
• No advertising. No data sales. No data brokers. Ever.
• No tracking of which promos you download.

7. Your rights (GDPR / equivalents)

You can request access to, rectification of, or deletion of any personal data we hold by emailing support@traxvault.app. Practically, this means we can:

• Tell you which email and country we have on file from your Lemon Squeezy purchase.
• Cancel your subscription and delete your license seat.

For data held by Lemon Squeezy (billing address, payment history, invoices), please contact them directly via your Lemon Squeezy customer portal.

8. Data retention

Email addresses and subscription metadata are kept as long as your subscription is active and for 7 years after cancellation, as required for tax and accounting purposes by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Support emails are kept for 2 years then deleted.

9. Children

TraxVault for Inflyte is intended for adult professional DJs. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced via an in-app notice or email.
